Brief Interpretation

Key Points

Usually, when I read a brief I prioritise certain aspects by highlighting them. Here is a list of my 'highlightations'! This process helps me memorise what I have to do and also serves as a reference when I want to come back to the brief.

  • Design (focussed)
  • Interactive story
  • Existing short (^)
  • Any target audience
  • Fictional or non-fictional
  • Consider your target audience and evidence this in your research blogs
  • Wire framing (flow diagram) and storyboarding
  • With details of events that need to take place (^)
  • Produce a dynamic visualization of your story in order to pitch and demonstrate how it will work
  • Consider why your chosen story will benefit from being interactive; this should be researched and referenced.
  • Consider the usability and user experience involved in designing for the iPad, producing samples of user testing handouts/questionnaires
  • Evidence research into the technical options and constraints that the development of such an app might encounter.
