Pitch

Sidenote

Linked to my previous post, I decided to email the developer of the KinectTouch library this morning to clarify a few questions I had about using it. He was particularly helpful; I've quoted his reply, below.

Hello Simon,

You need to install libusb, openNI, NITE, PrimeSense and SensorKinect drivers that match the one on the pre-compiled kinectcorevision ones.

Pitch

Today was pitch-day. I pitched my main idea to Sue, and ended up also explaining my initial idea. The views differed across the board. I've listed the crux-points for both idea, below:

The Display

  • Clever interaction
  • Not unique enough
The Blocks

  • Wouldn't draw enough attention
  • Unique
This has left me at a bit of a loose end.
