During my research, I came across a Cogapp project; "the Prudential Eye: a storytelling device that illustrates the company's past, present and future through a stunning display system that uses the largest piece of custom holographic glass in Europe." (Cogapp)
The Prudential Group approached Cogapp, wishing to have a cutting-edge art installation built for their (then) headquarters in London. As a global financial institution operating in the 21st Century, they needed an innovative and befitting way to present their brand and key messages to visitors.Source: http://www.cogapp.com/our-work/prudential

I'd hit the jackpot with this; it was the first Installation I came across which was designed to tell a story for a high-profile company and it really inspired me.
Idea
The physical length of the glass made me think; timeline. Also, I realised that a bespoke glass display would convey the right aesthetical messages for Coutts; a polished glass display, like that, doesn't just look modern, it's very expensive.
The next thing to cross my mind was interactivity, I wanted a way to turn this stepping stone into something interactive. Immediately, I thought of linear actions that could be used against a timeline, hand gestures, touch-events... wall-bys? This was perfect, a screen which responded as you walked past it. I sketched out a blueprint for my idea so that I'd not forget it.
This is definately something I want to pursue! I shall be looking for feedback in my next lesson.
